Beastie Besties Dog Walking & Pet Care Service is dog-gone happy you have decided to stop, sniff around and check out the website. Dogs are not only my specialty but my deeply held passion. I have had the privilege of owning and caring for dogs, cats and other household pets most of my life. I have many years of experience with handling, studying and caring for just about every breed you can imagine. You can rest assured that your canine companin or feline friend will receive as much love and affection in Beastie Besties' care as you give them yourselves. That's a promise!
Why would people need a dog walker?
Many people work long hours and will maybe have their pet crated during the day or locked in the house, also the dog maybe a high energy dog, a dog with a smaller bladder such a puppy or a senior or health-compromised pooch who will need frequent relief. It is in these circumstances where a dog walker is needed. When an individual brings home a new puppy, it is essentially like bringing a baby into the home. Constant attention, guidance, praise and care is to be given with a patient heart, soft word and a helping hand. The more a puppy gets accustomed to relieving themselves inside the home, instead of outdoors means the longer and harder it will become for the indiviual to successfully train the puppy to be housebroken. A puppy may need to be visited a few times a day for a brief but crucial period. Through patience, consistency and positive reinforcement, your little one will understand that elimination is for outside and not in your home. Then there is the senior and/or a health-compromised (or how I like to think of them, an old puppy with more advanced needs) canine companion. Lifestyle changes are to be expected.... and managed. Senior dogs may need to eliminate more frequently and thus the need more walks. Exercising (slow & steady walking and/or a brisk slightly picked up pace) stimulates tissues as it increases bloodflow. Exercise helps bowel & bladder function incredibly. Providing a older lady or geriatric gent with frequent walks through Beastie Besties while you are unable is not only benefical to you in the form of piece of mind and spirit but is highly benefical to the pooch as it can improve quality of life and perhaps even slow the progression of aging. Beastie Besties, moreso as the sole canine care provider, I understand the different requirements needed by an older pooch pal and am ready, highly-willing and dedicatedly-able to be there when you can not. Dogs are my life's force, they have always provided me with unconditional love, a steady ear, a much needed laugh and when needed, protection. It is my life's desire to return that back to them and thensome.
